Kingston ON, June 1st, 2019 – Kingston Pride Inc. kicked off Pride Month today with the formal release of its line-up of events to celebrate 30 years of LGBTQ+ activism in Kingston. Kingston Pride’s members chose as a theme “Remember the Past – Create the Future” as a way to mark the long history of Pride in the Limestone City. Events will be concentrated during the week of June 10th, culminating with the much-anticipated Pride Parade and Community Fair on June 15th. The full event line-up is as follows:

Kingston Pride Inc. is a volunteer-run, membership-based non-profit organization established in 1989 that works to promote awareness, acceptance, and inclusion of the LGBTQ+ community in Kingston and its surrounding area. Kingston Pride Inc. coordinates a wide range of activities throughout the year to celebrate diversity, and on behalf of its members and the entire LGBTQ+ community and its family, friends, and allies, will celebrate Pride 2019 and its own 30th anniversary by presenting events throughout the month of June.
