Out & About – Pride in Dunham Park

If you thought celebrating Pride wasn’t contagious, you would be wrong!  A welcoming neighbour has installed the biggest Pride flag facing into Dunham Park.  Brian Melady and Vicki Powers painted their Pride flag on the back fence!  They welcome everyone to come by and have a photo taken with it. Along with the massive Pride flag, a tote of props such as smaller pride flags and feather boas will be there enticing people to get into the spirit of things while taking their photos.   They said, “If it’s anything like our BIG 150 sign we put up for Canada’s Birthday last year, hopefully we’ll have hundreds and hundreds stopping around Dunham Park for photos!”

Thank you, Brian and Vicki!  You are so fabulously outrageous!  Happy Pride!

More information on Vicki and Brian’s projects, travels and initiatives can be found on their Facebook page, M-Powers Life.
