Thank you for Kingston Pride 2022

As September arrives, and it truly feels like summer and the Pride season are behind us, we want to take the chance to reflect on Kingston Pride 2022! A big thank you to everyone that helped make it a reality. And thank you to everyone that came and joined us for what truly felt like a back-to-normal Pride. We had more events and opportunities to wave our Pride Flag than ever before, including a record turn-out for both the Pride Parade and the community Fair.

We hope you have fond memories of Pride 2022, and are keen to share some photos and tag us if you have not done so already! Also, please take a moment (5-10 minutes) to fill in this community survey so we can learn what worked and what didn’t work, as we begin to prepare for Pride 2023.

Finally, even though the Pride Festival has passed, we still have events to look forward too! Due to the success of the Queens vs Queers softball game, we will be holding another softball game on Sunday, September 25th at 2pm at Oakridge Park Baseball Field. We hope you can either play or come and support the teams! More details to be released soon. Also, in November Kingston Pride Inc. will be holding its 2022 Annual General Meeting. Stay tuned for more information, but it’s tentatively scheduled for Monday, November 14th at 7pm.

Thanks again everyone, and hope to see you Out and about!
