Kingston Pride Inc.’s Youth Council will be made up of dedicated, hard-working youth volunteers between the ages of 12-24 with passion for celebrating the diverse LGBTQ+ community in Kingston. Youth will work collaboratively to plan youth-centered and family-friendly events for the Kingston Pride Festival. Youth who currently sit on you LGBTQ+ councils or groups for their schools are encouraged to nominate one to three members to join the community-wide Pride Youth Council as representatives from their school communities. All are welcome to apply by completing the application form linked below.

Interviews will be held in late February/early March. Please provide a working email address and/or phone number so that we can contact you to schedule an interview. Youth must be available for biweekly meetings in March and April, and weekly meeting in May and June. Youth must be available for the Kingston Pride Festival taking place on Saturday June 15, 2019.
